So began the introduction to this 36 page report which succinctly summarised the purpose of producing a special report about the ongoing crisis in South Sudan and Médecins Sans Frontières’ work in this area.
This was the first time that such a document has been designed and produced for high value donors. It therefore required a different style from other fundraising materials; we used full page images which captured the atmosphere and tone of a country in transition and the report was designed with a clear, easy to read layout which allowed the reader to focus and understand the enormity of the report’s content and the situation facing South Sudan at the time.
